imac screen adhesive
Hello all. i just upgraded an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Mid 2015) to an ssd and all went smoothly except that the adhesive will not hold the glass. any suggestions would be most welcome.

i apologize for not being clear but i did replace the adhesive.

yes- from around all 4 sides.
Is the adhesive not sticking?

it seemed like it was sticking when i put it together. when the user started working on the machine, the screen started separating.

You may want to try and just replacing the adhesive strip again. After the adhesive has been cut it cannot be used to reseal the display case.
