DFS Error after DCPROMO

I recently Dcpromo'd a domain controller but I'm still seeing this on one of my new 2016 DC's.  The old DC doesn't exist and I don't see any reference to it but for some reason, the new DC is still trying to replicate to it?  I've googled some articles but can't seem to get an answer.  When I run repadmin, I don't see it show up but it's obviously still somewhere in AD.  AD replication is fine and I'm not seeing any errors except this one...

DFSR Error:

The DFS Replication service failed to communicate with partner SERVERNAME for replication group Domain System Volume. This error can occur if the host is unreachable, or if the DFS Replication service is not running on the server.
 
Partner DNS Address: SERVERNAME.domain.net
 
Optional data if available:
Partner WINS Address: SERVERNAME
Partner IP Address: 10.3.110.21
 
The service will retry the connection periodically.

Do you still see this DC computer account in ADUC? You should be able to delete the old DC from there. If not do a metadata cleanup of this old DC object using NTDSUTIL

Yeah, tried that - no reference in NTDSUTIL (I saw that same article) to that server...

Navigate to domain directory partition and remove references to old dc from dfsr global config or one more dfs container
Dfs container can be found uder domain.com\system container

The servers I still seeing reference to in the event logs are CLTDC05, CLTDC04 and DRDC01 (but no reference to those in the output below).

Seems it just added as a DFS partner so check Mahesh comment regarding
DC=yourdomain, CN=System, CN=Dfs-Configuration

Agreed.  But how do I get rid of it?  I'm not using DFS so when I go to the DFS Management (I just installed it), it only shows the DFS partners as my 3 current DCs.

Under the  CN=DFSR-GlobalSettings/Topology, I only see the 3 DC's I currently have:

CLTDC08
CLTDC09
DRDC08

Looks like reboot of the DC's cleared this out and I'm not seeing the error anymore (I was seeing it 1-2 times a day).
