asked on VMware ntg3 driver - corresponding Firmware?
Hi,
normally Broadcom/qlogic has a relatively strict driver-firmware compatibility.
For VMware ESXi 6.7, this is also shown in the compatibility matrix for the “tg3” driver
But for the now default ntg3 driver, the recommended firmware is listed as “N/A”
Any experience with this combination?
Or is the tg3 recommended over the newer ntg3?
(NIC is Broadcom BCM5719)

Do you use / know corresponding firmware version, or just try latest firmware?
