Why Move Our Enterprise Database to an Oracle Database Appliance

In my shop we are heavily considering to an Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) X7-2HA to run our enterprise application RAC database.  Currently we are running our 2-node clustered RAC database on (2) R810 Dell Servers, which are end of life, run on an old version of Solaris O/S, while running on our customized Solaris Zone Cluster environment.  According to our Oracle Corp rep and their marketing this is a superior terrific approach for our application.  According to the marketing:  database in a single-box, consolidates processor, storage, networking, etc only taking 6u rack space.

I need a lot of specifics on how/why an ODA is a superior technical solution?  Any personal experience, need performance metrics and anything to help me sell this new architecture to my senior management. I already have marketing type stuff, suchas:  engineered Database Optimized to Run efficiently, independent hardware with reduced footprint, simpler approach to put database into production.  I'm looking for some meat to support theses statements.
