Hi,



 while adding ubuntu to vitual box after removing centos there getting attached error
i am using windows 10 hp laptop currently


please advise how resolve this error.

It appears you are trying to use the Centos folder for the Ubuntu machine.

Close out, restart and try again using a brand new folder (perhaps set up the folder beforehand so you can just point to it)

i was able to bypass that error

now i am getting attached error while starting to ad the ubuntu desktop downoloaded software

Also make sure you have installed the most recent version of Virtual Box.

and pointed the vm to that file ?

Likely this log file will contain sufficient detail to debug your problem.

And as John also suggested, start with latest version of VirtualBox + install latest Ubuntu (Bionic or more recent).
