Yeah I know buddy, just trying to give them options that would work if they happen to have the infrastructure in place. Long shot but better to give things that could work as well I guess, I didn't know they had that other question :S
I've been away for a month, I need to get back into the swing of things.

If you happen to have a proxy, you'd be better off appending all google searches with "&safe=strict" (No quotes) at the end of the domain. This would cover all browsers that you may have in your environment. Could you please provide a little more information on what your infrastructure looks like? Do you happen to be a home user? If you're a home user there are other options available to you.
Using your method, you need to do the following
Click start then run and type regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\softwar
Right click and Create a new Dword
Name it ForceGoogleSafeSearch
Give it a value of 1
This will only work with Chrome, if you have a proxy and you can append the domain as previously stated, it'll work on all browsers.

Alex
