Hi EE,

We have just installed SSRS 2014 upgrade from 2008 and we start the reporting service we receive the following error:

The attempt to connect to the report server failed. Check your connection information and that the report server is a compatible version.

Attached is the reporting log error messages.

I have no idea about SSRS, any assistance is appreciated.

Thank you.

Please use the SSRS configuration manager to view/validate that your SSRS Services are properly configured and running. Detail about SSRS Configuration Manager are here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/install-windows/reporting-services-configuration-manager-native-mode?view=sql-server-2017&viewFallbackFrom=sql-server-2014

Hi Icohan,

The settings seem correct (servername, ip, port number) anything, in particular, I should be looking at?

Thank you.

Hi Guys/Gals,

The solution is here:

Remove the reference to Dynamics in your web.config file Line 29.

Thank you
