Backupexec 20... presaging off-site backup for future incremental over slow wan connection?

I am running backupexec 20 and we have a server at a remote site with a slow WAN connection. I would like to run a full backup on the server to storage that is there locally then bring the storage to our data center and send just the incremental data to it each night over the WAN for the backup. The full backup will be about 1TB and the incrementals are 1-2GB. Can we use Symantec BackupExec to accomplish this (the up range is different in our data center from the remote site)? If so, how?

first of all what kind of data it is...

the incremental you dan as you said you have slow wan link...advisable is to use data dedupe license os it'll decrese the datasize at backup end.

any how still bottle neck is the bandwidth.... first you can test it ... by usind datadedupe trial ... enable on your backup exec server... which can be done by just selecting checkbox.

all the best

I think this will work...

Install BE locally temporarily, take a full backup, ship to backup server site, import and inventory the tape. The archive bit will be set on the data so incrementals and differentials will work.
