Need to detect internet explorer browser version when viewing in compatibility mode.
I was trying to use feature detection for the above and so used modernizer(js library) but unfortunately, it is not working. Is there any way through which I could do this feature detection.

Therefore, you WILL NEVER know what's going on behind the scene (except if you're satisfied to lump Compatibility mode with IE7 detection)
