Printer not compatible with server?
I'm trying to get a users printer to work through a remote desktop connection.
USer is connecting to a 2016 server, through a remote desktop connection from a Mac.
Printer is an HP Officejet Pro AIO 6978 connected to his mac via Bonjour. When trying to install driver n server, I get message that its incompatible - isd there another driver or a universal one I can use in its place?
Only need to print, no fax, scan, etc.

Here's a white paper from HP on setting up those printers with Server 2016. This may help - https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03351547
See if the printer can be set up using TCP/IP on the Mac instead. Then, use the "native" Microsoft RDClient to connect with print sharing enabled.
