I don't use Seamonkey, so can't speak to that, but Thunderbird has been my email client for many years and I can tell you that you may store the mail wherever you want...it depends on how you set up your profile. For example, I store mine in a folder on my <b>J</b> drive called <b>Thunderbird-mail</b>. You may learn more about it here:<br />

An email client, email reader or more formally mail user agent (MUA) is a computer program in the category of groupware environments used to access and manage a user's email. A web application that provides message management, composition, and reception functions may internally act as an email client; as a whole, it is commonly referred to as webmail.
