asked on
launching a csv hyperlink in Excel
On my html page I have a hyperlink lik this.
<a href="report1.csv">Report Link</a>
In my same directory as my html page i have a csv file called report1.csv
When i click on the hyperlink it downloads the csv file to my computer.
How do i revise my hyperlink so when I click on the link, instead of the csv being downloaded to my computer it launches in Microsoft Excel which is installed on my computer?

I believe that might be controlled by the browser ... see what happens if you use another browser.
