The Ubiquiti AP needs a Wireless point to hook up to. It might work as per above, OR, you might need to put a Wireless Router in Plant 2 hooked up as an extension of your network and hook the Ubiquiti to that.

My Ubiquiti is hooked up to my Wireless so that it has the same SSID as well as on the Network. &nbsp;If you do not need the same SSID as Plant 1 (and probably not), then you can hook up to a router as you said.<br />
