dell r720 hang at scanning for devices when booting

Recently dell r720 has been power off, when I boot the server, the server hang at scanning for device dell message. the is in the server is windows server 2008r2

can i first know if there is any recent hardware change on the sever?

Check BIOS for the boot order and ensure that the HDD is detected.

Please run a diagnostic using the Dell CD or at startup.

ok i will test this method, if it detect a bad device or hdd, what message i will get?

It could be anything, the RAID controller or the disk or even the memory. Run an extended test on all devices and check the results. Hopefully you will get some meaningful information.

I have done diagnose for the server a moment ago, all things in server are ok, all are green check symbols
