Vcenter Installation on VSAN HDD.

Dear Team,

Can you please guide how can we install Vcenter on a HDD which meant to be used for VSAN and later when we configure Disk Group for VSAN the HDD must be added without any issue. I heard this possible in VmWare Version 6.7
The esxi is on UFM flash Disk (64 GB) which doesn't have space.

The VMWARE version is 6.7.

There is an option during vCenter installation to build a vSAN and deploy the vCenter directly to the vSAN datastore

(So it is a deployment directly to a vSAN datastore, not a deployment to a single Disk that is later reconfigured for vSAN)

Hi Sebastian,

Can you share any link where we can check and try.

Hi Sebastian,

Out of 2 SSDs and 12 x 1.2TB HDDS i can only see  2 SSDs and 11 x 1.2TB HDD while configuring VSAN during the installation. But 12 x 1.2TB is showing on ESXI. is there any reason ?
