Can't Send Images from iOS Phone to an Android One

iPhone, iOS 12.1. I'm unable to message pictures or gifs from my Mac phone to an Android-running one. Yes, MMS is enabled; yes cellar data is on.

Help!

Hello Arthurboehm,

With the update sharing pictures is a little different:
Open the conversation or message you are sending
Tap the photos app icon in the APP strip
Select the photo you want to share
Find Recent Photo  or tap (select all) photos
To see suggested photo tap the grey bar just below the App Strip
Finish your message and press send!

Thanks, Stacy, but the issue has been resolved by my carrier, as I said in the comment just above yours.
I called my carrier--Verizon--whose tech person noted that a photo-block had been placed on my account when it was first opened at least ten years ago. She removed the block and--voila, the problem was solved.
