How to recover original contents after my blocked Hotmail account was renewed automatically by Microsoft, following allegations of producing spam?

Today, while attempting to access my long-standing Hotmail account (bruce.morris4800@hotmail.com), I received a notification that my account had been blocked, allegedly for producing spam. The resolution was to obtain a code (via my cell phone message) to have the account unblocked. I did so, as requested. Regrettably, the result was a new account, with the same name, but with no content, i.e. the over 10 year's worth of data was gone! Please advise what ca be done to resolve this important issue. Appreciatively, Arbyem

When did you last successfully log into your account prior to the reset?
Microsoft consider any account that has not been accessed for 270 days to be inactive and the contents are deleted even though the account name remains reserved.

Thanks for your prompt response. I had accessed my Hotmail account within at least the last two weeks. The re-newed account was triggered by my appropriate response to the "error" message that my account was blocked because of alleged production of spam. Any suggestion as to whether or not my original content is recoverable?
If you've been reissued with the same account name it would be unlikely but the only way to find out for sure is to go via Microsoft's Account team.

Go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12429/microsoft-account-sign-in-cant and then use either of the contact links at the bottom of the page.  Don't expect an instant response though, this is unlikely to be a straightforward first-line support fix.
The plot thickens! I now have accessed my old account (bruce.morris4800@hotmail.com) successfully via my Samsung Android cellphone. I can still access only the renewed version with no data via my MacBook Pro (mid-2012) Yosemite 10.10.5 under Safari v10.1.2. How is it possible to access two separate versions of my same hotmail account simultaneously fro my two devices?
BTW, I tried, unsuccessfully, to find a method of contacting Microsoft Outlook/Hotmail Support via the Microsoft hotlink you provided. I stopped trying after one hour of frustration in seeking a means by email, telephone, or chat session to report my issue and seek a resolution thereof.
Please advise me of any possible approach to seek a resolution to recovery my data for my Hotmail account on my MacBook Pro. Although I could continue to use my cellphone for access to the old complete version, this is not my preferred solution.

Given my lack of success in contacting Microsoft, can anyone advise me on how to contact Microsoft Support via email or telephone, so as to address this continuing issue of two apparent concurrent Hotmail accounts, with the same address and password?
Appreciatively, under continuing frustration, Arbyem
