Beware that in order to block apps with AppLocker, your windows 10 must be either enterprise edition or education edition, else AppLocker policy won't block apps<br />

Further, shortcuts cannot run apps in application is disabled with AppLocker<br />

Still if you want, you can use GPO preference item to delete that specific shortcut from client machines<br />

@Mahesh: We use Enterprise Edition - I forgot to mention. According to <a href="https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/threat-protection/windows-defender-application-control/applocker/create-a-rule-for-packaged-apps" rel="ugc">Microsoft Docs</a>, Applocker seems to be the recommended way for disabling Universal Windows apps in enterprise networks. Unfortunately this rule wasn't active during installation. XBox doesn't have any shortcut, which could be deleted. Maybe it's some registry value within HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\??<wbr />?, which controls the pinned-status.<br />

@Shaun: As we already installed Windows 10 on quite a few machines and the mentioned Packaged app Rule had not been active during installation, we'll use your Remove-AppxPackage command. It worked.<br />
