Extremely long backups using Time Machine (small changes)
Has anyone experienced slow backups with Time Machine? Right now, I have 1.11GB to backup and it says 4 hrs (only backed up 60MB). I am on a GB network and we are backing up to a NAS. I copied my VM (80GB) to the network (same destination NAS) in about 10 minutes a few days ago so it's not network speed, disk speed, etc.

First backup tends to run much faster than subsequent, incremental backups...What are the commands to see the logs in the console app?
Open a terminal window while time machine is running and enter
log stream --style syslog --predicate 'subsystem == "com.apple.TimeMachine"' --info
