Determine SQL version.

Hello,

I have two SQL server which I need to determine their SQL versions.  Here is what I got using the sql@@version command.

Can someone suggest a good weblink to look them up?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I guess, what is it that you need that this isn't showing?

They're both SQL Standard, one 2008 SP3 and the other 2012 SP4

You may look at this link: https://sqlserverbuilds.blogspot.com/

Or are you really looking for the SQL (Structured Query Language) version?
If yes, then each SQL Server version has its own SQL (backward compatible) dialect and the documentation is structured by the SQL Server version, e.g. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/t-sql/language-reference?view=sql-server-2017

It's 2008, that command would show you "2008 R2" if it were such.

Your 2008 version is 2008 SP3. There was an SP4 service pack that came out in September 2014, which was the last release for 2008. The last version for 2008 R2 also, coincidently, came out in September 2014.
2008 versions are 10.0.xxxx.x and 2008 R2 versions are 10.50.xxxx.x. The latest 2008 version is 10.0.6000.29 and the latest R2 version is 10.50.6000.34.
