Illustration tool

I need a good tool for drawing on the screen in real time.

When I am on a Skype call with my programmer, we are usually not in the same physical location as the machine. We currently connect to the machine via TeamViewer which gives us both the ability to interact. However I can't see his mouse moving and he can't see mine. I would also like to be able to do more than that and actually illustrate some things on the screen and he be able to do the same.

Both free and paid suggestions are greatly appreciated.

It has been a few years since i used Teamviewer, but I seem to recall that in the Options section you could enable it to see the remote cursor. I think it is turned off by default.

You can select that but it doesn't seem to show the mouse mouse moving around. I would really like a robust presentation tool.

There are options from Adobe, gotomeeting, joinme, and another program called Blackboard.  For illustrations, I'd use Adoble Illustator or Photoshop; I think that they both now have cloud based avaialablility.
