Exchange 2013- using outlook 2016.

I have two users that suddenly stopped working and cannot connect to exchange. I can use outlook 2010 and connect to it using their credentials.
They can log into the OWA and phones just fine.
I have looked at a lot of solutions on here but none have worked.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hi,

You are not able to configure the account?

The Outlook 2016 uses autodiscover. You need to configure the autodiscover record and to match with the certificate.

Are you having the problem internally or externally?

The accounts are added fine in exchange. When doing the outlook part it asks for login info and everything you put in it wont take it and give the error message.
It happen in the local network and over our wan.

Can you tell me more on what/where to do on the autodiscover part?

Thanks

the certificate matches the virtual directories. the cert has a autodiscover.domain.com in it.

Anywhere else i can look?

its just two accounts. all 75 others are fine. Thanks.
Hi Kyann,

If the problem only happen with two accounts it seems to be locally.

If you try to add the two accounts in a different computer that works...are you available to add it?

On the other computers it will not add either. But they are using the same version of outlook 2016 office 365. I do have other now that are popping up credentials boxes and not taking the password but then they connect.

Thanks.
This is a new "feature" in Outlook that configures the Office 365 account with priority, if one exists of course. You can disable it by toggling the ExcludeExplicitO365Endpoint key, as detailed here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3211279/outlook-2016-implementation-of-autodiscover.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\office\16.0\outlook\autodiscover
DWORD: ExcludeExplicitO365Endpoint
Value = 1

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\setup
(DWard 32 bit) value : DisableOffice365SimplifiedAccountCreation

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover
ExcludeLastKnownGoodURL
