Migrating Resource Calendars from One Tenant to Another - Seeking Best Practice

I'm in the process of tenant to tenant migration of Exchange.  Is there a clean way to migrate Exchange Resources (e.g. meeting room calendars) from one tenant to another?  Is it practical to do so?

My thoughts are if I have an employee schedule a meeting on a resource calendar and they are not transferring to the new tenant, their meeting will still show up in the new tenant as a user that does not exist in the new tenant?  Correct?

Is it best that meeting room calendars be printed and manually re-added in the new tenant?

why not just migrate as part of the tenant to tenant migration?

unless you are doing a demerger then users might not appear correctly.

Further, usually the resource are belongs to the same group of users.
who will book a meeting from other business to a floor that they never used?
the chance is pretty slim so I will bring the resource as part of the t2t migration :)

ASKER

This is a demerger, only 30% of the users are forming new company.  It will be very messy to migrate conference rooms where others booked it and they not coming over.  Correct?

You may use third party tool migration wiz to migrate resource mailbox or else the only option is to export PST /permissions/settings from them- delete them in one tenant-create them in another tenant and import PST /permissions/settings.
Thank you.  However what happens to the calendar if it is populated with meetings where the organizer is no longer part of the company?
mailbox owner/delegates need to come in and delete it if not required.
Thanks for your help.  I decided to not migrate the resources and have users print their meetings and rebook normally.
