iOS Outlook App - calendar notifications aren't displayed.

My client is using an iPhone X with iOS 12 and they are using the current version of the Outlook app.  Calendar notifications are turned on, in the app; and in the iOS notifications settings/control panel, settings are 'Allow Notifications'; Alerts are 'Lock Screen' and 'Banners', and Show Previews are 'When Unlocked'.

However, when a meeting's alert time comes around there are no alerts shown on the phone. Alerts for new messages are shown as expected.

Hello Robert,

Notification uses Wi-Fi only when a cellular connection is unavailable.  Firewalls and proxy servers might affect their ability to receive notifications.

To get a notification to connect to a Wi-i or cellular network.  if you don't get a notification for a specific app try this

Go to settings> notifications> select the app and make sure the notification is turned on

if the notification turned on for eh app but you're still not receiving the alerts style might be set to none  go to settings> notification and check that your alert style is set to banner or alerts

make sure that they are signed in to their Apple ID go to settings. iTunes & app store and enter  your apple id and password

also, make sure that you do not disturb is turned off. again checking that by settings. do not disturb and tap manual if it's turned on.

Good Luck!

Thanks Stacy! I did go through your steps here and while the issue hasn't changed, I do appreciate the points and insight.
Hello Robert,

iPhone X phones automatically hide notification previews on the locked screen by default.  Without unlocking your device go to settings> notifications>show preview and select always.
