Reliable PDF Editor and PDF to Work Converter

Does anyone know what the best pdf editor is?  I would like to be able to open a pdf file, add texts (mainly) for form filling and to be able to save what I have edited\added\removed.  And I would like the feature to export the pdf file to word too.

I am currently using Adobe Acrobat Standard DC but am trying to avoid having to pay a monthly subscription.

I have other tools but they do not work as well.

Any recommendations?

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

As you have already mentioned that you want to fill and edit PDF form data, so for that I would suggest you use SysTools PDF Form Filler utility. With this software, you can edit or add text in PDF form. Also with the Clear All Data feature you can refill the form with new data.

Visit the link: https://www.systoolsgroup.com/pdf-form-filler.html to know the complete process and salient features of PDF Form Filler Tool.
I've found Nitro pro to be a very good product. I like the interface better than Adobe Acrobat, and they don't lock you in to a perpetual subscription.

Thank you both for responding.

Purchased the Systool Form filler and it served my need.  However, don't see the Word to PDF converter.

I used Nitro before and don't like the look and feel to it.  Does it have a Word to PDF converted?

I have several installed on my system, but my personal favourite is Wondershare PDFelements. It will do what you want and also has Word > PDF > Word conversions.

Thank you Andrew for the suggestion.  That is a lot more cheaper than Nitro for the converted.  I'll keep that in mind in case I need it.  Thank you again everyone for your response.
