Are PDF Creator 10 and Software Marketing Ltd. safe ?
Good evening !
Having had to buy a new computer, I tried to transfer my Acrobat XI Pro from my old hard disk to the new one.
After many trials to make it work, I finally found out that my soft was a "fake" one, according to the Adobe official site, which did not recognize my user key.
I bought it (~$300.-) from "Buy Tech Solutions" in 2015. At the time it downloaded without problem and worked perfectly all those years….
I did a research on Internet and found a news Item confirming that "Buy Tech Solutions" went out of business un 2016 (?) and most probably was a "pirate" company.
I also found out that Adobe discontinued downloaded type of software and only works with monthly/yearly subscriptions on products that are linked to the Cloud.
As far as I am concerned, I DO NOT want to send my personnal documents, photos or anything on whatever Cloud that be.
I thus want to buy a soft that I can download on my computer and use only therein.
Searching the Inernet I found "PDF Creator 10" from "Software Marketing Ltd.".
Thus, my question is :
Is "Software Marketing Ltd." to be trusted and is its product safe ? In order for me to avoid the mishap described above.

Thank you for your suggestion but unfortunately, I long passed the golden age of a student and am not a teacher. Whereas Adobe specifically requests proof those statutes to be eligible to use that version, the latter is out of reach for me.
Furthermore, it also is a Cloud related soft, which is teh kind of solution that I absolutely do not want, for privacy and security reasons.
Thus, that answer does not help me in my initial querry : Are PDF Creator 10 and Software Marketing Ltd. safe ?
