let me add to what John says - you can use IrfanView 's <u><i>Batch Resize</i></u> option to create smaller image sizes by folder.<br />

I am running Windows 10 on my Lenovo laptop. &nbsp;I have several different file management software programs, but none of them enable me to look through the picture files for sorting/selecting by seeing larger images of the photos than that permitted by the Windows Explorer &quot;Extra Large Icons&quot; view. &nbsp;It isn't practical to have to open all the photos in one of my image programs (which, of course, would enable me to see them full screen), since I'm sorting through thousands. &nbsp;Is there a file management program that can provide really large (or, even better, scalable) icons? &nbsp;I thought that the now-defunct PowerDesk software allowed this.<br />

Windows 10 is a personal computer operating system featuring the "universal application architecture" (UAP); apps can be designed to run across multiple devices with nearly identical code, including PCs, tablets, smartphones, embedded systems, Xbox One, Surface Hub and HoloLens.
