IOS question

Cisco 3750 series dont have licenses on the box. just load the same OS in the spare switch and youre ready to go

OK. So if I copy the IOS from one switch and copy it to another it will function the same as the source switch?

Yes, the 3750 series licences are ios based. What model youre replacing ?

replacing a 3750TPS-S with a 3750PS-S V10

Thats's no problem. make sure you update the switch to the same os, give it a factory clear and put it in the stack
and let the stack boot

OK. when I console into the the and do a show flash I only see one IOS version that of the master but I do not see the IOS of the other members which is what I am looking for.

Try show flash0:/ flash1:/ flash2:/

Then you will see the others. Do a copy flash tftp and pull it from the master. Then do a copy tftp flash to the spare box. Delete the old image from the spare and reload it. After it boots check the version. Clear the config with a write erase. Shutdown the stack and connect the spare

The master has C3750-IPservicesK9-M. The others have C3750-IPBASEK9-M

OK. I see the right IOS now show the flash3.

This is not correct. all switches must have the same os in the stack !!

really. Hmmmmm. it's been that way all along.
On the switch I am trying to copy the IOS to there is not enough room for the IOS I am trying to copy. If I delete the current IOS on it, will I still be able to access it to copy another IOS to it?
