MS Word 2106 export to PDF  when read in Acrobat shows a thin black line at the left edge on most even pages of a book file.  No such line appears while in Word. Any clues to eliminating this line appreciated.

Yes, realized this after posing question.  Appears to be something related to text around a pic. I have no pics in this project. I can delete each line, but would like to turn off whatever feature  is generating these lines for the whole project.

You would, I think, need VBA to do this. Here is a description to add borders in VBA that may possibly be modified to remove borders

I opened the DOCX file and can click on the line, hit delete and it goes away.

Try that on one of the pages then convert to PDF. Does it still show the line?

I just deleted each line. Still not sure how they got there.
