create an Outlook profile in addition to the existing one.

I would like to add another profile to Outlook, so that I can have options to open one Outlook mailbox or the other.

You use the auto detect function, choose manual instead

You ca do this. I do.

Make your two email accounts and set Profile selection to manual.

Make a shortcut on the desktop for each Profile.

... \outlook.exe /Profile “Profile name”

This works for me

Control Panel Mail, make your accounts. Then under profiles, set to "Prompt"  (prevents Auto).

Then run Outlook from Desktop shortcuts which point to the profile you wish.

I have two Outlook Accounts, two Profiles and two Desktop Shortcuts. works well.

The problem is not how to create a second profile ..
when I get to this window:
Choose Service:

- Outlook.com or Exchange ActiveSync compatible service
-POP or IMAP
-Other

there is no where to choose the exchange server manually where the second mailbox is located

Use the Create Email tab.  That should allow you to use the manual create account approach. Do not use the Wizard.

Use Control Panel/Mail, choose Show Profiles, click the Add button to add a new profile. Give the profile a name. On the Auto Account setup screen enter the user name, email address and password of the new user you want to set up. Click Next and it will connect to your local Exchange server and find the user's account and set it up.
