Beautiful, thank you! I flipped through that exact document several times, scrolling the table of contents, searching for the words PROFILE, grid_P4-8q etc. but nothing cam up. I was using the wrong search terms, it was right in front of me!

Can someone explain what these different GPU profiles mean? I have searched google for an hour with no results, and read through the GRID PDF documentation with no results. I have been able to gather that the number at the end is the gigabytes of RAM allocation, but what about the &quot;q&quot;, &quot;a&quot;, &quot;b&quot;, etc...<br />

Can someone explain what these different GPU profiles mean? I have searched google for an hour with no results, and read through the GRID PDF documentation with no results. nVidia GRID vGPU profiles - what do they mean?

VMware, a software company founded in 1998,  was one of the first commercially successful companies to offer x86 virtualization. The storage company EMC purchased VMware in 1994. Dell Technologies acquired EMC in 2016. VMware’s parent company is now Dell Technologies.

VMware has many software products that run on desktops, Microsoft Windows, Linux, and macOS, which allows the virtualizing of the x86 architecture.  Its enterprise software hypervisor for servers, VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi), is a bare-metal hypervisor that runs directly on the server hardware and does not require an additional underlying operating system.
