"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

DevOps has nothing to do with Python, Python has nothing to do with DevOps.

DevOps is a methodology to rush stuff into production subject to automated testing.
Python is a programming language.

So they are not causaly connected.
You could use perl, ruby, etc. etc. as well as Python.

Python hasbeen developped as a useful Programming language for fast production of simple tasked scripts.
DepOps has a need for a LOT of scripting for testing puposes....

So that the two are used together can be handy.
Ansible is written in Python and provides deployment automation.  Deployment is part of DevOps.
