Changing time on server 2008
Our client, running MS SBS 2008 SP2 reports:
"Having a bit of trouble here. It seems the time in office PC’s is off by about 5 minutes (screenshot attached). This affects some of the development work I do. It seems this is managed on the server and I can only change it temporarily on my PC."
We have full access to his server, just want to be sure we make the correct changes.

You only need to make sure the DC is in sync with a public time server, as stated above. Domain members should get their time from there automatically (at least once a day) without having to do anything in addition.

This server failed to connect to a time server.
Resolving that (ie putting a reference to a teim server) corrected the problem

Isn't that what part 2 of Mahesh's comment is about?
OR
there is time difference of 5 mins or more between PCs and DC?
If this is the case you can run below command on clients:
net time \\dc /set /y
This will bring client and Dc time in sync
U may configure Dc to obtain correct time from internet time servers
