Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

With the current status of the government shutdown which could last months, I am wondering if this will have a negative impact upon income tax returns.

          Thank you

Quote "The IRS is currently working under non-filing season shutdown plans and will be updating it ahead of the upcoming tax season as soon as Friday, according to a person familiar with the matter"

The IRS is working on plans for taxes.  Do not avoid your tax return at this early date for sure.
