hosting a Fortnite competition on ipads - what can i do to remove lagging/ latency issues

everyone will be on ipads and my bandwidth is 200 MB dedicated, its a small competition in our company, is there a QOS setting i can apply or any other suggestions

maybe there is a gaming port i need to open on the firewall

Here are some tips that may help: unless the company will have other internet traffic during this time, don’t worry about the firewall and LAN, it’s all about the WiFi
- WiFi is only broadcasting the newest standard supported, N or AC if possible
- if you have more than 1 AP, split the clients
- turn off everything else that uses WiFi

Aaron makes an important point: make sure you are only offering one WiFi standard . . . it's not a latency or traffic issue, but some wireless cards set to "auto" will try to renegotiate the connection from time to time and this will cause that end point to seem sluggish. And make sure everyone is using the same security set up.
