Need interactive website for web GUI design

I hope there are a few drag and drop types of easy GUI configuration test sites, where I can download the HTML, CSS and even the Javascript.

If I need to limit myself to just the HTML and CSS, that is fine.

Can you give me some samples of this type of website?

Thanks

Wix.com
Godaddy.com / Website Builder /Cpanel
Wordpress.com
Amazon.com web services

They all have a GUI website builder with drag and drop features, designed with client side responsiveness in mind.., that are free to try before you buy.

I would try a couple of them, and choose the one that you are most comfortable using if you are not a web UI designer by trade.
Another one to add to your list is squarespace.com
Hi,

I would use Themeforest HTML template https://themeforest.net/category/site-templates
This is very easy to edit and you will have a great looking website.
Some of the template have a theme builder included.

also envato offer a site builder https://sites.envato.com/#pricing

I am thinking of a site more for web developers. To use as a communications tool with the website owner, so we can quickly configure look of various elements. Then, download the code and use that as a reference as I write the website.

I do not want super cool styles that are parts of plug-ins. In want a list of HTML controls I can drag and drop on the page.

Does this exist?

Actually, I have seen and used lots of sites like this, for individual HTML/CSS/Javascript controls.

Please refresh my memory about these

Thanks.
If you are developing from scratch then use any IDE that works with GitHub ...and invite the customer/owner to whatever test bed hosting site you decide to deploy on.

HTML is the markup for your web page controls.

CSS determines how those controls appear and behave.

JavaScript is client side scripting code that interacts with your controls... and all page elements...to perform functions.

Sounds like you should just download MS Visual Studio and deploy on an Azure free trial... or any other .net / asp hosting site... and just give the test link to the owner.

I typically build the page controls... drag and drop in Visual Studio.. then.. add the functionality with server side and client side code... then at the very end I apply CSS3 styles to change the look and behavior.

There's also Sketch (MacOS only) and Invision (a web app compatible with files Sketch generates), which designers I've worked with like to use. Additionally, Lunacy is a new Windows app built to work with Sketch files.
