I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Did you reboot the exchange server that they are failing to mount? If not reboot the exchange first.

Is the database edb file in clean shutdown when you check the header of it

Eseutil /mh file path/db.edb

They lost 2 drives at the same time on a RAID 5 - I had to recreate the array and do a restore from Win NT backup.
Where do I find the name of the log file to run edb recovery ?
JPD153Author Commented:
I eventually restored from an earlier tape backup and got my DB back - lost a couple of days but most emails were spooled at proofpoint. So no real loss
