Cant find some tools in MS A2016.

Hi Experts,

I'm looking for some tools I used to have in A2003 and cant find them in A2016.

1- where is the option to add form header footer?
2- where can I change controls line/border color?
3- where is that option to search an object by its name in my form? (See attached).

Thanks

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

1 - If you right-click on the Detail bar in the form/report design view a context menu will appear with the option Page Header/Footer and Form Header/Footer.
2- Select a control and edit the Property Sheet or use the FORMAT tab in the Ribbon.  If you don't have the property sheet visible you can activate it by double-clicking on a control or selecting Property Sheet on the DESIGN tab in the Ribbon.
3- It is in the FORMAT tab in the ribbon in the Selection group to the far-right.

Making the switch to 2007+ and the Ribbon is very challenging at first, to say the least!

It has many Pros and Cons.  Good luck.

I urge you to customize your QAT (the small toolbar at the top) and add your most common commands so you don't have to keep switching between ribbon tabs to access them.

Lastly, beware that 2013+ have been plagued with bugs, so if something isn't working, don't assume it is you, look online in case it is a known bug.
