Problem with slow outlook after upgrading exchange

After a well done migration from exchange 2007 to exchange 2013, we experience that most outlook 2013 clients are working wery slow.

If I enable "cached mode" it's almost back to what it was with the exchange 2007 server, is that normal  to use cached mode to get a good performance?

And furthermore we have a couple of users where "outlook not refreshing the inbox view" after the migration, it's also working with "cacahed mode"?

I hope you gyus outthere have had similar problems and some good solutions :-)
