The 0x8004230f error is generated when the VSS is unable to run due to an unexpected error.<br />
<br />
have you used any other backup solution with the same?<br />
<br />
If yes then disable the other program first then restart the system and use the Hyperoo Backup solution.<br />

I checked twice. We are not using any other backup software and even windows backup is not configured.

I am taking backup using Hyperoo Backup Software. It is configured properly with all its settings and configuration but it fails everytime it tries to take backup. I checked VSS settings, re-registered VSS but i have no success, I tried different solutions specified on internet.<br />

Software is any set of instructions that directs a computer to perform specific tasks or operations. The term "Backup" means the methods and processes involved to copy computer data (system data as well as application data) to media other than the ones where the data originally live (disk, tape, optical, cloud). "Restore" in turn means the methods and processes involved in data recovery, i. e., bringing back copied computer data to their original location.
