Mp3 files to Audible phone item

How do I convert mp3 files into an audible format file so that it can be played as a single item within my Audible phone app?

We have tried it using recommended methods and came up with this result.

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

is that working ok, or not?
here some mp3 players :  https://www.androidauthority.com/best-music-player-apps-for-android-208990/
You need to have your phone plugged in and choose the "Add to Device" button so it copies the folder to your phone.  Until you do that, the files are not on the phone to play.
This article basically says that MP3 files are supported in the App:

@Davis McCarn that link only says that .aa files play with MP3 quality, not that Audible will play MP3s.

However, that leads me to another suggestion. Try renaming the MP3 files to change their extension to .AA - with luck Audible will accept and play them. This can be done either in Windows or Android; iPhone users are protected against this type of dangerous behaviour ;-)
