Clear Chrome browser history blocked

We have a user who needs to clear out their chrome browser history but it is grayed out and "blocked by administrator." We checked the group policies both local and on the domain and there is nothing indicating that the setting has been blocked. We updated the software, and ran an anti-malware scan. We would prefer to not uninstall and reinstall so we are looking for other options.

Try to follow these steps through Admin Console:

Device Management > Chrome Management > User Settings

The policy is "Clear Browser History" which can be set to "Do not allow clearing browser history in settings menu".

Do other users in the company have the same issue with the same image?  how about logging on as a different user on this computer and see if the other user's google account settings are greyed out as well.
