Need Key Word search tools

Need Key Word search tools

I need free tools which let me search for words that are used very often. This is for SEO, since I want a high hit rate.

What can you suggest? And what other advice can you offer on SEO? I am starting with my YouTube channel...and will use these key words in the meta-data.

Thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Adding to the meta data like that will not have influence as you expect.   What you want to do is go deep with your content and keep your keywords and keyphrases in your content that is supported by your headings.

One free resource is Google Trends  https://trends.google.com/trends/  You can compare words and phrases such as Super Bowl Snacks https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?geo=US&q=super%20bowl%20snacks. If you sort the related queries by "Top" you will see, "healthy super bowl snacks"  are  a top related search phrase with related topics to the left (on desktop view).

If you have an Adwords account, Google provides a keyword research tool inside of it

You can get a small amount of keyword data with a free account at spyfu or keywordtool:

https://keywordtool.io/

Also, since you're talking about starting with Youtube. One of the best free tools is doing a deep dive in the auto complete field and using those keywords:
youtube auto complete

Hi,

There are many free tools is available for keyword research like Soovle, KWFinder, KeywordSpy.

For regional based keyword research you can use Google Trends.

Tips: After finding your target keyword just put on Google search bar within "youtube keyword" and check out the competition.

Thanks

Hi,

I recommend you to check some great tutorial on that topic on Udemy.
You get a lot of tips from experienced Youtuber.

As Lucas stated, any large site with an auto suggest tool will be useful.

YouTube. Amazon. Google.

Another useful tool is the Google Keyword Tool. Recently Google hobbled this a great deal + it's still always the first place I start.
