This can often be caused by a corrupt Outlook Profile or an incompatible add-in (or one that has gone rogue). <br />
<br />
Try disabling all add-ins to see if that cures it and if so, enable one at a time and re-test until you find the problematic one.<br />
<br />
Creating a new Outlook profile and testing with that may also yield results.<br />
<br />
