VM backup
I am using a Promox VE on my local ML110 xeon 28GB 480GB SSD server. and wish to backup on my Qnap TS-253A 8GB ram nas server.
Normally I log into the local server with: https://snag.gy/RYE3Sm.jpg URL: https://192.168.1.20:8006/#v1:0:18:4:::::: user id: root and then the password. but when I try to log in, it's not working: https://snag.gy/D9zsEx.jpg
I downloaded nakivo for the backup.

I use Veeam Backup and replication, they have a free version.
ASKER
Yes, we did a comparison of the different solutions namely: nakivo, veeam, HPE, altaro, one major advantage of nakivo over veeam is that, it already as a pre configuration on the qnap app center. so, all we had to do was download it and simply put it to use. also, what they are asking to pay after trial is simply: 99$, and that's fine for us.
Can you help with the login or sycn aspect?

if anyone would know it would be Andrew Hancock. He answers most of the Vmware Veam stuff, he has some great articles on this site. Not sure how you could search them, but thats what I would do.
Could be a port issue. are you specifying port 8006 when adding this node, as the errors suggest otherwise.
