Hi Folks,
I remember back in the old days Microsoft FrontPage was a lot easier when creating forms, previews and tons of excellent features..,

Now that I'm trying to get back into web devs(newbie here), i discovered people don't really use it anymore... is any other software or plugin or Visual Studio/Code Extension that help to replicate the same?

Frontpage worked best on its own Frontpage extension, and that's why the built-in functions worked so well.

Most of current packages focus on helping the developer in a slightly other way than Frontpage did. Closest functional handholding style developing is probably also still the most expensive option, Adobe's Dreamweaver CC
