Click on Insert Shapes and select Circle. On the sheet, click and drag the image where ever you want. You should be able to move it also.

i dragged circle side of the rectange then i dragged on to rectangle it worked
i could not drag directly on to reactangle though

how to import external shapes and more good looking templates etc. here?
please advise
Hi Gudii, Please check this - https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/OOoAuthors_User_Manual/Draw_Guide/Merge_subtract_intersect

you can use Merge and subtract to overlay images over each other. Open Office Draw has limited shapes so you can google and get more shapes added.

there is a tool called Dia that can also help too.

Also i have rectangle i am not able to write text underneath the rectangle. how to achieve this? please advise
you would have to add a text box below the rectangle to write any comments. Can you try and see if that works?

Try checking this guide and this would help you out - https://www.openoffice.org/documentation/manuals/oooauthors/DrawGuide.pdf

after writing can i delete rectangle as i just need text not that rectangle?
If you have a separate text box then you can delete the rectangle. you don't need that in the diagram.
