Looking for best ways to report data from SQL Server Databases to users. We have tried SSIS packages that outputs data to excel files etc.

Hi,
You indicated there was an issue with the current delivery method. I'm suggesting an alternative. It's a bit of a pest to code the first time around as you have to format some columns differently depending on SQL data type, but once you've got that collection built up it is fairly simple if the source is a SQL stored procedure.
This way your users get what they need when they need it, rather than getting a whole bunch of emails - and then having to extract the excel spreadsheet attachments ...
