I have a large spreadsheet that is sorted by date and time.  I only want to show the first 10 records of each date.  I.e., the first 10 records of 1/1/19, first 10 of 1/2/19, etc.  What's the best way to accomplish that?

You could add a column to the data counting the number of occurrences of a particular date and then apply a filter to that column which restricts the visible rows to the first 10.

Some sample data would help, can you upload a dummy file?

Thanks, Rob.  I have attached a sample file.

See attached; formula in column D with autofilter applied to show counts less than or equal to 10.

Note use of $ in formula to lock row 1 as the formula is copied down, thus increasing the range for the count.
