MS Update problem?

I have recently (first time in 5 years) had two clients using my Access 2002 app with data on the server report that they have had all users thrown out of the app with link problems to data. Is anyone aware of an update that may have caused a temporary blip both clients mainly on windows 10 (most common problems) and some windows 8

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There's been a number of problems over the years... the most recent of which is a bug in SMB2/3 and leasing:

is this recent?   Anything been changed?

The main problem is with a customer (My best customer, of coarse) who has 6 users on pcs (Windows 10) linked to server who only today got "Disc or network error" I spent half the afternoon persuading the IT dept that it was a network problem (Because I've never seen it before with  any of the 120 users) then blow me down another customer has all his users suddenly kicked out of my app with error filled fields on some pcs and others just said it stopped working. My app is Access 2002 mde so they can't get in to bugger things up. Same program running between 12 months and 4 years
